Warron, Debra & Alexandra Sage have the luxury of country living on a small farm, 40 miles East of Oklahoma City off Interstate 40 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. We chose this area as it was centrally located from all areas of the United States; with Will Rogers Airport only 45 minutes away. We are aBlended Family; combining Native American and Christian teachings, along with Open-mindedness to shape Our way of life. If you choose to come to " The Village" , We will show you how to find peace and simplicity, in a complicated world, while you travel this earth path. We are up front with our teachings and answers, so be careful of the questions you ask; as they may not be what you wanted to hear. We don't tolerate excuses for addictions, but we will help you find your way towards a life without them.
Debra BigEagle had a major accident with a horse that had broken free of its owner in 1998. This left her broken and knowing that there was something to this life after death! After being X-rayed from head to toe and back again several times, it was discovered that she had a concussion and needed a decision whether to save her ankle or amputate. Thanks to Dr. Mark Kircher, the good Lord and hard work, she still has her ankle. With three surgery's, all of the rehab and severe pain, she made a decision not to take drugs. That's when she started studying and researching about healing herbs. She made her first Herbal Pad to ease the pain in her ankle. Then she came up with "Them Bones" a combination of therapeutic grade oils. One of the oils is Birch bark (natural cortisone) which for her seems to ease the pain in the joints, ligaments and tendons.
Alexandra Sage BigEagle is now 3, where did my baby go, as I now have a little person! She is 39" tall and talking in sentences & Potty trained! I didn't think that was ever going to happen! She can count to 30 and recognizes all of her alphabet and colors correctly. Word World on PBS is her Favorite show. I have to say that NOT since Sesame Street, have I seen, such a great kids show! http://pbskids.org/wordworld . Alexandra helps us with feeding the chickens, goats & dogs, watering the trees & wipes the dinner table off. She will put her dirty clothes in the hamper, now if she can teach her daddy!
Pastor Warron BigEagle is Northern Cheyenne and part Lakota Sioux along with being a Christian minister, who carries with him a unique relationship with people. It is his path to not only understand the ways of his people and their way of life, but that of the followers of Christ. He does this by believing in the simplicity of spirituality as not just a religion, but also a way of life, which then brings the ways together. He seems to be able to hold a crowd spell bound with his Native flute playing, singing Gospel or Country, telling the Native stories or best with his Preaching! Warron is available for speaking or musical engagements, weddings or personal counseling. "I believe, that the journey of life should be filled with joy and happiness. We create our own joy and therefor are in control of our own happiness, even in the darkest of times". (WBE)

The Village will be a place "To Step Back in Time" when completed. It will be a place for All People to come experience and learn of not only the "Red Path" , a "Christ based Path" , but of the "Old Ways" , before the electronic age. That is why we ask that as you prepare to cross the bridge to the Village, you are to LEAVE All Electronics in your car. This is a place to remember the basics of who you are or who you would like to become. This is why you come here, so please honor us by complying. During the year, we hold Retreats, Cowboy Worship services, Musical events, Sweat Lodges and teach the old ways, along with sponsoring the Bear Dancers. Outside events are as weather permits. Check back for schedule. As with activities at all venues, there are costs of preparing and holding the events. We try to be fair in keeping the costs down to attend, but also realize that some people won't always have the fee, when they'd like to attend. With this in mind, as in the old days, we are open to barter. When you arrive for your stay, you will be given your own set of utensils, a plate & a cup and you will be responsible for washing and keeping track of them. Keep in mind, that at some events, you will be expected to help as part of the event. We operate here on "Indian Time", which means some programs start late or are subject to changes and / or additions. What you bring, please take with you or find a garbage can. Also, DO NOT provoke or tease the animals. They can bite, kick or charge when provoked or cornered. Also do not feed the animals anything. Be ALERT for Spiders, Scorpions, Snakes, Deer, Foxes, Skunks, Coyotes along with Poison Ivy/Oak, as we are in the woods! Every Farm has a rule and ours is "If you want to eat, you must help". Even Alexandra has her chores at 3 years old. There are Coolers full of good sweet spring water, sweet tea, good home cookin' and a coffee pot over the fire! Please come and enjoy the peacefulness of the Village!
WE are looking forward to helping you and hope you come back to our site again and again! Blessings & Joy - AHO - Debra, Warron & Alexandra Sage Big Eagle
